Excel Marine & Engineering Pte Ltd was established in year 2010 with a team of highly skilled professionals with more than 18 years of experience in crane and steel structure works.

The company has since growth from a team of 4 employees to more than 18 today serving highly reputable clients in Marine & Offshore, Oil & Gas, Steel, Waste & Chemicals, Power & Utilities, Constructions & Manufacturing and Shipping industries in Singapore.

To cater for our workloads, the company moved from a temporary office to a bigger space with own workshop at 12 Gul Street 2. Furthermore we constructed new fabrication factory located at Gelang Patah, Malaysia which is about 20 minutes travel time from Singapore Tuas area.

In year 2013 – 2014, the company has reached a new milestone achieving BizSAFE Star with renewal assessment for Quality Management System – ISO 9001:2015, migrate to Occupational Health & Safety Management System – ISO 45001:2018, BCA License – General Builder Class 2 + Mechanical Engineering (ME11 – Grade L3) + Mechanical Equipment, Plant & Machinery (SY08 – Grade L3) and has since securing multiple.

We aim to continue growing our client-base and workforce through continuous improvement of our response time, customer service and workers’ skills.

Together with our strong team and under the strong leadership of our leader, we are confident that we will continue with our strong growth in the industry.

The Managing Director

Our managing director, Mr. Chan Ginn Tsair, has started out his career as a humble crane and heavy lifting equipment mechanic with a small firm in Singapore in Year 1998.

He was then promoted to technician Grade 2 within 2 years due his excellent performance.

In year 2001, Mr. Chan career reached a new milestone when he joined a construction company where he was put overall in-charge of 4 Major plants yard & development and maintenance jobs.

After 4 years in the construction line, Mr. Chan was then headhunted by a major crane company as a Project Manager to handle numerous multi-million projects until year 2010 where he started his own company, Excel Marine & Engineering Pte Ltd.

With his vast experience, strong determination and good leadership, Mr. Chan has led the company with only 4 full time employees to a full force of more than 18 excluding labourers, and also from a small and tiny temporary office to a larger office with our own fabrication factory today, enabling us to fabricate huge structures.
